Release your burden

Tired of juggling all the hats and jobs we're suppost to wear? Listen to this....Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Be yoked to Jesus. His way may seem harder but it really is easier! Such joy and peace and rest. Latch on! :) Man I needed to hear this after my crappy day at work!

When I read this bible verse It made sense for not only me but my mom also...with me I have been really stressed lately...all I do is work now and school is stressing me out because I havent finished my summer reading...during these past couple weeks I havent had as much time for God as I would like. I have just been stressed with work and school and other little things. Well now Im sick and the doctor says I cant go to work for a while. I guess I can catch up on my reading hehe but thats beside the point...I read this verse the day i got sick and I started thinking maybe me getting sick was good in a way. I get to slow down, be less stressed, and of course give more of my time to God! Its funny how something bad can be so good! So I'm going to take advantage of being sick...I have more time to think about things that are bothering me and more time to just talk to God. Ive been so busy lately I havent really talked to him and when I do become better and when I start getting stressed I can think of this verse! okay now about my mom...This is kind of personal and I know Corrie you already know, but i'm comfortable with telling my younglife friends and it feels good just to let it out in writing because it has been really stressful, but anyways my moms husband recently left my mom and shes pretty much a wreck. Last night she was really upset and i didn't know what to do. Then I remembered reading this verse so I got on my computer and read her the verse. i thought it went perfectly with her situation and would let her know Jesus was there for her when she needed him and if she took his yoke and learned from him he would find rest for her soul...which has been broken for a while...I really hope the verse soaks into her and makes her feel better. I think it has a little because tonight she actually went and had dinner with one of her best friends which she hasn't done in a while! I hope she keeps talking to Jesus so he can take away her wearys and burdens...she tells me she talks to him every night which makes me happy! okay sorry i wrote alot haha but it felt good just to get everything out! okay well i love you all!!!
